3D animated stormwater explainer produced for Lismore City Council

The challenge

Lismore City Council needed to explain planned stormwater pump station upgrades in a way that was easy for the community to understand. Many residents were unfamiliar with how the infrastructure worked or why the upgrades were essential for reducing flood risk and improving long-term resilience.

Our solution

We developed a 3D animated explainer that translated complex engineering concepts into a clear visual story. Using animation and plain language, the video demonstrated how pump stations operate, why the upgrades were needed and how the project would strengthen flood protection. The animation was designed for use across Council’s digital and community engagement channels.

The outcome

The animation helped build community understanding of the project and its benefits, supporting informed engagement throughout the rollout. The 3D assets were reused across multiple communication channels, providing Council with a flexible resource for ongoing project updates and community education.

Absolute professionals, this is new and exciting for Lismore
