The Coffs Harbour Bypass project needed a digital solution to keep residents, stakeholders and road users informed throughout construction. The challenge was communicating complex project updates, traffic changes and detours in a way that was clear, accessible and relevant, while reducing fatigue from long-term construction impacts.

Our solution

One Engage designed and delivered an interactive map-based engagement platform that transformed how communities accessed project information.

Users could explore updates geographically and filter content by location, interest area or information type, helping them quickly find information relevant to them.

The platform integrated project updates, traffic notifications, maps, imagery, videos and milestones into a clear and engaging digital experience. A content management system enabled the project team to rapidly update information as construction progressed.

The outcome

The platform improved access to information, strengthened transparency and supported ongoing community trust by making complex infrastructure communication easier to understand and navigate.
